Scope
These terms govern your use of our website and booking of chimney-related services in Canada.
- By accessing or using the site, you agree to these terms.
- Services include inspections, cleaning, repairs, installations, and related advisory work.
- Commercial and residential clients are both covered by these terms unless otherwise stated in a written agreement.
Quotes and Pricing
Online estimates are non-binding until confirmed after inspection of the appliance and access conditions.
- All prices are in CAD and subject to applicable taxes.
- Additional charges may apply for unforeseen access issues, hazardous materials, or non-compliant installations discovered on site.
- Promotions and discounts are applied at our discretion and may not be combined unless explicitly stated.
Cancellations
Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice. Late cancellations may incur a call-out fee.
- Rescheduling with less than 24 hours’ notice may be treated as a cancellation at our discretion.
- In cases of severe weather or safety concerns, we may reschedule without penalty.
- No-shows may be charged a call-out fee to cover travel and time.
Liability
We operate with care and according to standards. We are not liable for pre-existing defects or code violations discovered during service.
- We may refuse or suspend work if unsafe conditions are identified until hazards are remedied.
- We are not responsible for consequential or indirect damages, loss of use, or downtime.
- Customer is responsible for securing pets, valuables, and providing safe access to work areas.
Access and Safety
You agree to provide clear access to the appliance, roof, and relevant areas, and to disclose known issues.
- We may use ladders, harnesses, and specialized equipment to ensure safe work practices.
- If access is obstructed or unsafe, we may assess an access fee or reschedule.
- We follow applicable codes and standards; recommendations may be issued for corrective actions.
Payments
Payment is due upon completion unless otherwise arranged. Invoices may be issued electronically.
- We accept common electronic and card payments; surcharges may apply where permitted by law.
- Overdue balances may accrue interest and collection costs.
- Materials or special-order parts may require a deposit before scheduling.
Warranty
Workmanship is warranted as specified on the invoice. Warranty excludes misuse, neglect, or third-party alterations.
- Manufacturer warranties on parts apply per their terms.
- Warranty claims require proof of purchase and a site assessment.
- Remedies are limited to repair or replacement at our discretion.
User Responsibilities
You agree not to misuse our website, attempt unauthorized access, or interfere with operations.
- Provide accurate information when booking or communicating.
- Maintain appropriate insurance for your property as required by law.
- Comply with all applicable laws and bylaws related to chimney and venting systems.
Privacy
